1. Scope & Services
GordonAndPims provides legal advisory services including corporate law, contract review, and employment law consulting for businesses in Germany. All services are subject to written engagement agreement and applicable German law.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by German law. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Berlin, Germany.
4. Limitation of Liability
GordonAndPims' liability for direct damages is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost profit damages.
6. Data Protection (GDPR)
Client data is processed in accordance with GDPR. We retain data only as long as legally required. See our Privacy Policy for details.
2. Confidentiality & Attorney-Client Privilege
All communications between client and GordonAndPims are confidential and protected by attorney-client privilege under German law. We do not disclose client information without explicit written consent, except as required by law.
3. Fees & Payment
- Fees are quoted in writing prior to engagement and billed monthly or upon project completion.
- Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date.
- Late payments incur interest at 5% per annum.
- Additional costs (court fees, expert reports) are reimbursable at cost.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with 14 days' written notice. Upon termination, all outstanding fees are due immediately and we will return client files upon receipt of full payment.
